Also, all of the scheduled screenings have “Buy Tickets” on their film details pages. Simply review and click on the movie you are interested in. You will be taken to a page with more info, trailers and links to purchase tickets Click here to see the Film Guide.
You can also click the link below for passes. Click here to see the options.
When you purchase a ticket or pass, you will receive an email with a link to Filmocracy.com. Register for an account and login, then click on the Filmocracy Fest event or go to filmocracyfest.com and you will have access to the event! For example, The Festival Pass would allow entrance to all the screenings, receptions and events. The VIP Pass provides access to the FestDance Summit and Saloon for Happy Hours, while the tickets provide access to specific screenings.
Once you purchase a ticket or pass you will receive a confirmation email which details what you purchased and how much you spent – like a receipt.
Passholders will receive a second email with a link inviting them to join the Filmocracy viewing platform. Once joined, all films which the passholder has access to will be available in this portal.
“Either the event has not yet started or you don’t have access to this page. In order to gain access, please upgrade to Premium or go to the festival website directly to purchase a ticket.”
It’s possible you did not purchase a ticket, or the ticket was not assigned to the account. Also, please make sure that the email used during the ticket purchase is the same as you used to create your Filmocracy account. If you are unable to see the event after logging in with the correct email address, then the pass was not assigned to your account, in which case please contact us using the chat function on the lower right corner of your screen.
Your ticket/pass cannot be shared with others. However, feel free to watch together on your television or computer!
Yes! All events will be archived and made available to passholders through the end of the Festival, December 6 at midnight. Then they will be available for a designated period of time after the end of the event.
Please note that the scheduled screenings will take place in Cinema 1, 2 or the Palace Theatre. Following that screening, visit the Village Map and click on the noted building in the Talent Summit to hear the live Q&A.
There are many reasons that can cause film playback to pause or buffer. Is the problem happening with any other film? What browser/device are you using? We suggest restarting your internet modem. Are you still experiencing this problem? The problem is often resolved by waiting for network conditions to improve.
The Festival presents Audience Awards determined by popular vote of the audience. During each virtual film screening you will be given a chance to vote on the virtual platform for your reviews of the films. Please take a moment to tell us what you thought. All winners are announced after the festival on our website and social media. The Awards show will be presented Sunday December 6th at 7:00pm and will be free and open to the public.
Yes, there are a few screenings that are geoblocked to the US or California. The majority of the films are not geoblocked to any specific zone. You can find out which films have restrictions in our film guide for each specific film.
1) COMPUTER HDMI CONNECTION: The simplest method is to hard wire an HDMI cord from your computer into the HDMI port on your TV, much like connecting a DVD player to your TV. Many computers/laptops have an HDMI port (outlet), if yours doesn’t have an HDMI port you’ll need an adapter or dongle (Mac Laptops need this adapter). You can purchase an adapter/dongle online or at a store, such as Best Buy or Apple. We added a few links below to online products:
