Welcome to the 2021 San Diego International Film Festival

Tonya Mantooth
CEO/Artistic Director
San Diego International Film Festival

Dear Friends:

Wait ’til you see what we’ve planned for you in 2021!

We’re introducing the SD Int’l Film Festival Channel with new films each month and Live Chats with the Filmmakers.  Our Channel will be an exclusive benefit for subscribers to the MySDFilmFest Membership – a community of Film Lovers supporting international independent film as a means of starting conversations in our increasingly complex and divided world.

And we just couldn’t wait ’til the San Diego International Film Festival next October 14-24 so we’re launching the San Diego International ShortsFest May 14-16 – featuring short films, networking with Filmmakers from around the world, panels and presentations representing the very best in short film storytelling!

There’s more information below on how to join the fun!  Your support means the world to us as we continue to re-imagine and re-invent until the time when we can once again enjoy your company in person!

I’ll be seeing you in the Festival’s Virtual Village!

SAN DIEGO INTERNATIONAL SHORTSFEST – MAY 14 – 16th

We believe short films tell powerful stories, so we’ve created the San Diego International ShortsFest to showcase short films that present important topics that affect our world and our shared humanity. Let’s start the conversation. What’s going on in your part of the world? What are you passionate about? Who are your local heroes? What are you thinking about these days? What’s your dream for the future?

Share your short film during the 3-day ShortsFest with a global audience of your fellow Filmmakers, Film Lovers and the Film Industry and be a part of what San Diego is creating in the virtual film world. SUBMIT TODAY!
