THE ELBA FILM FESTIVAL was born out of a genuine wish to connect filmmakers from all over the world, to celebrate their hard work and help them get support, motivation and inspiration for their upcoming projects.

With our Festival we want to create a community of creators. We want to share inspiring and thought-provoking films that open up our world view and celebrate our differences, while uniting us all through one of the most powerful mediums of our times: Cinema!

We believe that films are critical to the understanding of what it means to be human, they promote empathy and a more inclusive society, while allowing us to step into another person’s perspective and get to know worlds that are very different from the ones we grew up in. It is our Festival’s mission to celebrate our differences while uniting us all through the power of our stories.

Con il nostro Festival vogliamo creare Comunità, condividere film che aprono a nuove prospettive e celebrano le nostre differenze, che uniscono attraverso uno dei media più profondi del nostro tempo: il Cinema

Crediamo che i film contribuiscano alla comprensione di cosa significhi essere umani, che promuovano empatia per una società inclusiva, che ci permettano di mettersi nei panni dell’Altro e conoscere mondi totalmente diversi da quelli che già conosciamo.
